One thing I have learnt this week is the meaning of bedmas, this week I have enjoyed playing four square with my friends. I wan't to work on finishing my understanding of linear rules. I am looking forward to the long weekend and I'm grateful that this week I finished my education perfect tasks.

One thing I enjoyed this week was coming to school and seeing all jolly good friends. I learned a bit of algebra this week in class. One thing I was working net week is to improve my writing skills, one thing I'm looking forward to next week is the sausage sizzle. One thing I'm grateful for this week was receiving really kind compliments.

7/8 Otaki Gorge Trip.
Yesterday, on the Thursday 26th. My class SWL and half of MNL went down to the gorge to do some fun activities with the year elevens.
The next activity we did was raft making. I gathered some dry sticks and tied them together with some cutty grass. Mrs Smith helped me some knots are the sticks to help keep them together and also assisted me to find a good looking mast.
To get there, I went in Lucy's car with Keira and Tyson. When we got there, we were separated into some groups. I was with, Taison, Eliot, Jayaiah, Antonio and Dragon. We were paired up with two year 11 girls.
Our first activity was shelter building. We found a spot and used to blue tarps to tie to the trees. Once we hung to the top one to the tree, we placed the other one on the ground. Then we got some ferns and placed them at the edges of the shelter.
Once we had packed up, we headed down to the river and were planning to make a fire and roast some marshmallow's. We eventually got the fire to light and had a fun time trying to roast the best looking marshmallow.
When the time came to race it against the other rafts. I was in the lead before my raft hit the shore, and people started to throw rocks at it.
After lunch, we all had a game of capture the flag, Juniors against Seniors. We, the juniors, managed to win against the seniors and were given bragging rights.
Going to the gorge was a lot of fun and I hope that I can go there again.

Week 9 Term Reflection
Week 9 Term Reflection
One thing I have enjoyed this week was cooking in Ms Haggin's class. Another thing I enjoyed this week was that my Swimming Club are sending out new uniforms. One thing I learned this week was how to count to ten in Chinese. One thing I want to work on is extending my Chinese numbers to 20. One thing I'm looking forward to next week is that is the last week of school.

ALWTW Part 6 Discussions Questions

When Nya's father said, "Cant you guess?" I think he's inferring that they will be building a water fountain in that area.
Some of the differences from Rochester and Salva's home town Lone Ark is that the temperature is much colder in Rochester. Another difference is that all the roads in Rochester were made where as in Salva home, the roads were all made of dirt.
I think that Salva should take into consideration that this might be his only chance to see his family again, so yes. I think that Salva should ignore his fathers request and go see his family.
Water has the water to do both. It can unite people and give them hope but people can fight over water because of jealousy and greed. I think it all comes down to how the people in control use it.
